Data Conversion
Procede's technical staff have considerable expertise in data conversion. Data conversion is availble in two forms: Legacy Data conversion and Specialized Data conversion. Legacy Data conversion relates to dealerships moving from legacy systems to the Excede™ DMS. Specialized Data conversion relates to special projects.
Procede staff work closely with dealership staff to assist in all data conversion projects and ensure that all required data is accurately and optimally converted.
Legacy System Data Conversion
Procede's Legacy System data conversion is based on standardized routines for legacy ADP, Karmak and DSI systems. These routines automate, speed up and simplify the data conversion process. Legacy System data conversion is completed in three phases:
- Beginning data mapping and conversion routines created and processed for dealership review
- Updated data mapping and conversion routines created and processed for dealership confirmation
- Confirmed conversion routines run the go-live weekend
Customized Data Conversion
Procede offers customized data conversion through our IT Services. Customized data conversion involves the following steps:
- Consult with dealership staff to review data to be converted
- Develop conversion routines
- Run/update conversion routines in a test environment for review
- Confirmed conversion routines run in production environment
