Dealership Management System - Excede™ DMS v9.15

Procede announces Excede™ DMS V9.15 release date of March 1, 2010.

New Features

  • Document archiving - users are capable of designating archive paths for each form in the system. When a form is posted, signed or printed an electronic copy is saved to the archive directory. The archived documents are easily retrieved from the Excede™ DMS or eDealer.
  • Streamlined parts workflow - Front/Back counter workflow has been streamlined with the help of the highly enhanced Parts Quote tool. Multiple parts can now be inserted with far fewer key strokes.
  • A new Fuel Department has been added including fuel purchases and fuel sales. Users can manage fuel tank inventory, generate consolidated customer fuel billing invoices and manage fuel sales tax reporting data requirements.
  • Modified clean core costing - A new clean core table has been introduced simplifying core costing, variance, management and visibility.
  • Reduced Keystrokes - Inserting lines on documents is now more intuitive and will require fewer keystrokes. Items will now default to the most common type when inserted in a Repair Order, Parts Sale or Disbursement.
  • Duplicate Vehicle Merge – an intuitive wizard to remove duplicate vehicle records and maintain an accurate master vehicle list.
  • Automatic tracking of technician time by shift and shift/technician overtime rules providing base and overtime time costing.
  • Pre-posting of multiple vehicle sales allowing users to review and/or modify the default accounting.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) job linking which displays a primary PM item when due and suggests other PM work that might be completed but may not be due at that time.
