As a Microsoft Certified Partner, one of our goals is to stay current with Microsoft technology. Microsoft’s extended support for SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 recently ended on July 9, 2019. In order to keep in step with Microsoft, and to provide the most stable platform, we are ending support for the Excede database on SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2.
Microsoft has recommended dealers migrate their Windows Server and SQL Server applications to a newer version. The following versions are compatible with Excede. Their extended support end dates are shown below:
Windows Server 2012: 10/10/2023
Windows Server 2016: 1/12/2027
SQL Server 2012 SP4: 7/12/2022
SQL Server 2014 SP3: 7/9/2024
SQL Server 2016 SP2: 7/14/2026
