Procede Software — What’s New — News — End of Support Notice for Windows 7 End of Support Notice for Windows 7 Procede Software is a Microsoft Certified Partner and continues to align with current Microsoft technology. Microsoft recently announced support for Windows 7 will be coming to an end at the beginning of 2020. To give our customers advanced notice to plan for this transition, we will continue to provide support for Windows 7 until January 14, 2020. After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7. You can continue to use Windows 7 on all your PCs running Excede, but each system may become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses as Windows 7 updates will no longer be provided. Your PC will continue to start and run, but Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, software updates, or security updates for Windows 7. Because of these potential issues, Procede will no longer be able to support Excede running on Windows 7 after January 14, 2020. This applies to all currently supported versions of Excede (v9.18+). Microsoft has recommended dealers upgrade to Windows 10 prior to January 14, 2020.
